Sounds’ like she’s saying this is one of the blackberry’s standard emoticons or something. Anyone happen to know if that’s true?
One of my friends always sends me emoticons like that. She’s even sent me that one before and told me it was a big hug.
some blackberries emoticons are not compatible with other blackberries or other cell phones and causes this issue. Have a couple of friends that this happens with….
My mom every night sends me a heart, and that emoticon above. I finally asked her one day why she sent me a vagina every night and showed her, she still does it and I still laugh!
I just checked on my blackberry and it is listed as “big hug” If it was sent to another blackberry/when you type it it shows up as the actual little face so the mom here wouldn’t have ever seen it

This just shows Blackberry employess have the same sick humour as the people who are behind the iPhone autocorrect.
But that’s not a bad thing

Yeah, that shows up as “Big Hug” on the Blackberry. It’s a conspiracy by the Blackberry people, trying to trick middle aged women trying to hug their kids!
